NotairIA Inc. is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and the federal PIPEDA.

2. Information Collected
2.1 Provided Directly
- Name, email address, name of your notarial office
- Quebec Land Registry login credentials (AES-256 encrypted, never stored in plain text)
- Payment information (processed exclusively by Stripe — NotairIA Inc. retains no card data)
- Content of files, conversations and uploaded documents
2.2 Collected Automatically
- IP address and browser type, for security purposes
- In-app activity log
- Aggregated and anonymized technical usage data
3. Purposes of Collection
- Provide and maintain platform services
- Execute searches on the Quebec Land Registry on your behalf
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Ensure platform security and prevent fraud
- Improve our services through aggregated and anonymized analysis
- Comply with our legal obligations
The content of your files and conversations is never used to train third-party artificial intelligence models.

5. Disclosure to Third Parties
NotairIA Inc. never sells your personal information. We share it only with the following subcontractors, bound by contractual confidentiality commitments:
- Stripe Inc. -- secure payment processing (PCI DSS Level 1)
- Microsoft Azure (Canada) -- data hosting and document storage
- AI Model Providers -- queries transmitted anonymously, without personal identifiers
- Competent Authorities -- only if required by a legal obligation or court order
6. Data Hosting and Residency
All your data is hosted on Microsoft Azure servers located in Canada (Canada East / Canada Central region). Your information does not leave Canadian territory, in compliance with Law 25 requirements.
Exchanges with artificial intelligence models are conducted anonymously. No personally identifiable information is transmitted to model providers.
7. Your Rights
In accordance with Law 25, you have the following rights:
- Access -- obtain the list of information we hold about you
- Rectification -- have any inaccurate or incomplete information corrected
- Deletion -- request anonymization of your account from Settings > Account
- Portability -- receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Withdrawal of consent -- at any time, without retroactive effect

8. Security
- AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) available for all accounts
- Activity log enabling detection of unauthorized access
- Data access limited to strictly necessary personnel
In the event of an incident that could cause serious harm, we will notify you and inform the CAI within the timeframes required by law.
9. Cookies
We use only cookies strictly necessary for operation: sessionid, csrftoken, theme. No advertising cookies or third-party behavioral tracking.
10. Modifications
In the event of a substantial change, you will be notified by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. The current version is always accessible at notairia.ca/confidentialite/.
